Automation without risk controls is dangerous. Redis Trader Automation enforces a layered risk framework that applies before, during, and after every trade — keeping drawdowns bounded and protecting your account from undisciplined execution.
Risk Control Status

Risk checks run before every order. Any threshold violation blocks execution and logs the event.
Daily Loss Limit
The system tracks cumulative closed P&L. Once the daily loss threshold is reached, all bot trading is suspended for the session.
Stop-Loss Enforcement
Every order placed must include a stop-loss. The engine rejects any trade attempt that omits or exceeds the maximum allowed stop distance.
Breakeven Logic
When a defined profit target is reached, the stop-loss is automatically moved to the entry price to protect the position without manual action.
Trade Filtering
News filters, session filters, and volatility checks are applied before signal forwarding. Low-quality setups are blocked before any order is placed.
Position Size Control
Lot sizes are calculated or capped per-bot and per-account. Oversized positions are rejected before reaching the broker.
Bot Pause Rules
Bots are automatically suspended when loss limits are hit, connection errors occur, or consecutive losing trades exceed a configured threshold.
Anti-Overtrading Logic
